Paddle Florida could not function without the many volunteers that give of their time to work on all the details that allow the journey to come off smoothly. This adventure is not intended to be luxury trip, such as a cruise. We will have a journey to remember, but everyone has to pull their own weight.

Paddle Florida is a community adventure led by volunteers and depends on well-prepared and self-sufficient individuals and the pooled efforts of the entire group. As such, participants are asked to come prepared to take care of all their own needs and to volunteer their services during the course of the week. These services include assisting at launch sites/take outs, loading/unloading gear trucks, serving dinners, breakfasts and lunches, and lending your fellow paddler a hand when one is needed.
